I was staying over with a friend of mine at his father's estate. I merely observed that Mr. Trevor had been in Australia, and was a Justice of the Peace. Nothing too remarkable for someone to point out, I would think - though Victor's father treated this as an amazing thing.

But when I asked about why he was so nervous as though he was expecting unpleasant company and about the J.A tattooed on his wrist - he fell into a dead faint! A man of his size and experiance, fainting like a sick ingenue, I had not expected him to react so violently.

The funny thing is, he claims that J.A was an old love once he came around - however I do not believe that for a minute.

Naturally, I am certain I am going to be told this really is none of my business. However, this whole thing is just too queer for me to leave it be.

Holmes appeared in his flat after taking leave of his companions - leaving his address for them to contact him. His heart slowly resumed it's normal rate as the adrenaline and need faded to nothing.

With the last of the fear-induced energy gone, his legs started to wobble, his vision swam, and his mind went all funny.

And it's strange what sticks out when the floor was about to greet them.

"The Orantatang is the murderer? what a stupid twist," Sherlock groaned as he faceplanted.
